Working Principle of Auger Filler
The operator sets the filling parameters on the control system of the machine. The operator has to manually feed containers one by one in manual or semi-automatic filling machines. Each filling cycle will need to be initiated using a finger or footswitch. In automatic auger filling machines, a power conveyor system is provided in order to queue the containers required to be filled. Feed the product to the auger screw using the hopper. Please note that auger fillers are volumetric filling machines and do not weigh the products before every filling cycle begins. Some auger filling machines are provided with a weighing scale as well. Auger drive rotates the auger screw at a constant speed and feeds the powder product into the tube of the hopper.
