Working Principle of Crown Capping Machine

Filled bottles move on the conveyor belt, and they are then fed into an in-feed star wheel of in-feed worm. During their movement in feed start wheel, caps are picked by bottles one by one from the delivery chute. Descending rotary sealing heads are used to hold the bottles’ neck with desired pressure. A rotating scramble is facilitated to accurately position the caps mechanically and the sealing is done in a programmed roll-in fashion. When the chute is filled up after the caps are directed into it, the rotating unscramble drive gets disengaged. This helps prevent any damage to the caps. Rotating sealing head brings into action the sealing roller and sealing cam is also there to facilitate the movement of sealing and threading rollers. The sealed bottles are then discharged using a star wheel on the conveyor.
