Working Principle of Eye Drop Filling Machine

The incoming vials are fed through the in-feed turn table (24” or 30″) and suitably guided on the moving delrin slat conveyor belt at the required speed of the correct placement below filling unit.

The filling unit consists syringes & nozzles uses for the filling. Syringes are made of Stainless Steel 316L material for cGMP compliance. Vials passes below the filling station continuously on SS conveyor belt, during vial transportation nozzles also move along with vials simultaneously and discharge pre-determined liquid into the vials. Duly filled vials delivered on stoppering unit which is mounted on same platform.

Plugging unit is having “Pneumatic” type plugging system. Plugs are stored in vibratory bowl. Plug picking device will picks up plug one by one and will place onto vials. After placing plug onto head of the vial, another plunger will press plug from the top for correct placement of plugs. 

After filling & plugging operation vials further move on conveyor & on to conveyor of bottle capping machine for capping operations.
