• Sigma Mixer Kneader


Sigma Mixer Kneader is a heavy duty and advanced mixer that is uses to achieve uniform mixing and kneading of materials with high viscosity. Sigma Blade Mixer is considered a must have for a whole suite of operations inclusive of mixing, kneading and grinding to name a few. It can be uses for mixing various products including adhesives, pharmaceutical products, polyester compounds, food products, soap, detergent, chemicals, dyes, pigments, fiber glass and confectionary items to name a few.

The machine consists of a double U shape container that’s welded together. Inside this container there are two Z type sigma blades that rotate in opposite directions. In order to obtain maximum kneading and mixing efficiency, the clearance between the walls and the containers are kept as minimum as possible. Mixing trough and blades are made of mild steel, stainless steel of 304 or 316 as per user requirements. Z blade mixer scores a perfect 10 on 10 in terms of safety as it is provided with safety guards and grills.

Working Principle of Sigma Mixer

Sigma Kneader has a tangential action that facilitates optimum kneading and mixing which is achieved due to Z or sigma kneading blades. These blades rotate pretty accurately at different speeds. This causes product transfer from one blade to another. Product discharge is facilitated by tilting the container. Alternatively, this can be achieved through the valves provided at the bottom or by using an extrusion screw that’s available at the container if provided by the manufacturer.
