Closed Ampoule Filling Sealing Machine or closed ampoule filler built on sturdy structure with easy to use approach. Contact areas of sterile liquid made from SS 316L material to obtain GMP compatibility. This monoblock design performs ampoule opening, filling & sealing operations on one platform. Contact areas of sterile liquid made from AISI SS 316L material for cGMP compliance. Filling nozzles quantity depends upon model chosen and output required.
Machine suitable to handle 1ml to 10ml glass ampoules. In some models it can even fill up to 30ml big ampoules. Machine has filling capacity of 0.5ml to 30ml in single dose operation. Through different models options machine can fill up to 250 ampoules per minute. We have different types of filling mechanism options in which piston pump filling, servo driven filling and peristaltic pump filling is most common choices.
Closed ampoule filler and sealer customized to fill broad range of injectable liquids with ultimate precision. Transfer of ampoule done through slant movement of rack, during movement nitrogen purging, liquid filling, pre heating, sealing and collection operations performed. To minimize liquid wastage no ampoule – no liquid feature incorporated by default.

Salient Features of Closed Ampoule Filling Machine
Process Operation of Closed Ampoule Filling Machine
Closed mouth/pre sterilized ampoules loaded onto infeed hopper of the machine. From where it has been received to receiving rack through starwheel/cassette. The moving rack which moves horizontally collect one/two/four/eight ampoules from the receiving rack and transfer the ampoule to the machine in left to right in an inclined position. During ampoule movement Pre-gassing, Filling, Post Gassing, Pre-heating & Sealing Station perform filling and sealing operations. At the end duly filled and sealed ampoules get collected automatically onto collection tray of the machine.

FAQ of Closed Ampoule Filling and Sealing Machine
What ampoule sizes and filling volumes can the machine handle?
It is suitable for 1 ml to 10 ml glass ampoules, with some models filling up to 30 ml. Filling capacity ranges from 0.5 ml to 30 ml in a single dose operation, depending on the model.
What production speeds are available across different models?
Output depends on the number of heads:
- Single head (AFS-1C): up to 25 ampoules/minute
- Two head (AFS-2C): up to 50 ampoules/minute
- Four head (AFS-4C): up to 100 ampoules/minute
- Eight head (AFS-8C): up to 200 ampoules/minute Higher-output configurations can reach up to 12,000 ampoules per hour.
What filling mechanisms are offered?
Common options include piston pump filling, servo-driven filling, and peristaltic pump filling. Standard models primarily use piston pumps, with filling precision of ±1%.
What are the key salient features of the machine?
Key features include a compact cGMP design, all contact parts in SS 316L (non-contact in SS 304), “No Ampoule – No Filling” system, ampoule neck centering, nitrogen flushing before/during/after filling, pre-warming station, flow meters for flame regulation, minimum change-over parts (1–10 ml), easy accessibility for maintenance, and quick cleaning with low downtime.
How does the process operation work?
Pre-sterilized closed ampoules are loaded into the infeed hopper and transferred via starwheel/cassette to a moving rack. The rack moves them in an inclined position while performing pre-gassing, filling, post-gassing, pre-heating, and sealing. Filled and sealed ampoules are then automatically collected on the tray.
What models are available and what are their main differences?
Models include AFS-1C (1 head), AFS-2C (2 heads), AFS-4C (4 heads), and AFS-8C (8 heads). Differences cover number of syringes/nozzles, maximum ampoule size (up to 30 ml on smaller models, 20 ml on larger), speed, power requirement (0.5–2 HP), nitrogen nozzles, sealing burners, and overall dimensions.
Is nitrogen flushing supported, and how is it arranged?
Yes. Nitrogen gas flushing is possible before, during, and after filling. All listed models provide nitrogen arrangement before and after filling, with the number of nitrogen nozzles scaling with the number of heads (2 to 16).
What materials and compliance standards does the machine meet?
Contact parts that touch sterile liquid are made from AISI SS 316L for cGMP compliance. Non-contact parts use Stainless Steel 304. The design emphasizes sterility, ease of cleaning, and minimum change-over for pharmaceutical injectable applications.
What power requirements and utility needs does the machine have?
Power is typically 230 Volts, single phase, 50 Hz (adjustable to customer voltage). Burner gas uses LPG & Oxygen. Power ratings range from 0.5 HP (single head) to 2 HP (eight head). The machine includes flow meters for easy flame regulation.
