Vial Filling Machines

Industries and factories need technology in the present day to carry out many forms of job. In pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, technologies like Vial Filling Machines are a huge aid.

For varied uses, many types of vial machines are available. The vials are filled with various contents which are typically liquids, dry syrup powders and injectable powders. These applicattionsa are done using a vial filling machines. On the other hand, a vial labelling machine applies labels to the product while a vial sealing machine uses stoppers to seal the vials. Both of these machines are highly automated.

Different types of Vial Filling Machines

There are different types of vial machines such as

  1. Vial washing machine
  2. Vial capping machine
  3. Vial labelling machine
  4. Vial filling machine

These vial machines work on certain principles.

Vial machines of various varieties and their uses are discussed here.

Vial Washing Machines

Pharmaceutical labs have vial washers accessible. These vial washers are uses to clean the vial surfaces of all adulterants before drying them to eliminate any remaining water molecules.

Below are the standard operating procedures of vial washers:

  1. Rotary Washing Machines: These washing machines rotate and produce a variety of vials.
  2. Linear Washing Machine: this machine’s job is to automatically load vials into pockets on an SS wire mesh conveyor using a feed conveyor. This reduces the workload on human labourers.
  3. External Washing Machines: External washing machines are designed to clean the exterior of vials with a rounded form. This is done to lessen public exposure and lower the likelihood of rejection.

Vial fillers are technologically advanced devices used to fill various liquids into vials. Turntable, S.S. Stat conveyor belt, special eccentric pre-gassing, filling, and post-gassing are the fundamental units. These filling devices are typically used for high viscosity liquids like oil, syrup, and fruit wines, etc. because of their straightforward design and excellent efficiency.

Listed below are various different vial filling machines.

  • Filling Machine for Dry Syrup Powder Automatically

Depending on the volume of the powder, the kind of powder, the diameter of the bottle, and the diameter of the bottle neck, this powder filling machine can fill a variety of bottles per minute.

  • Machine for Filling Injectable Powder

The injectable powder filling machine can fill up to a certain number of different vials per minute at a maximum speed depending on the vial diameter.

Working principles of vial capping machines

The microcentrifuge tubes and vials with tiny polypropylene caps can be handled by the vial cappers. The automated mechanism used by these vial cappers is designed to feed vials and caps. After being fed, the vials are gathered into one rotary dial, where an exact amount of fluid is discharged.

Here are some vial cappers’ guiding principles.

  • Then, a rotary dial holding the vials is filled with them, releasing a specified volume of fluid.
  • The fluid-filled vial is transported to the next position, where the proper amount of fluid level is evaluated, once the dial indexes have been opened.
  • These filled vials are immediately cap and torqued when the bottles are checked.
  • Vials having improper cap heights or malfunctioning fluid levels are rejected.
Above is the working principle of vial capping machines.

Vial labelling machine

Vial Labellers are made for labelling spherical, tiny, and delicate-to-handle items like test tubes and vials. Machines for labelling vials are capable of both line and independent operation.

  • The technical fixer pulls the objects towards the conveyor while distributing them across a certain distance.
  • It has a reel, a driving circle belt, and a labelling circle belt. When the label strip is pushed against the item by the labeller wheel, the driving circle belt moves the label strip in such a way that the label strip is pulled out.
  • When the conveyor reaches a specific point, the drive wheel begins to accelerate in accordance with the belt, and once the label becomes stuck, it slows down to come to a complete stop.
All of the aforementioned are different kinds of vial machines and the uses to which they are put in relation to the machine’s mechanism.

There are several varieties of vial machines, and each type has a unique operating mechanism and set of operating rules.
